We started our journey Augusts 18th 2017 In Mississippi and drove across country to Southern California . Mike decided to record all our Adventures. He calls our channel
MS FITZ'S ADVENTURES. after his name Michael S Fitzgerald. We live in a 29' Cruise lite camper by Forest river and tow it with a 2016 Toyota Tundra. We ended up Joshua tree California, This is where Mike grew up. We knew we would have to work so at the time we both got regular jobs as we planned to do and just live in the Desert. Mike got the job we came here for a Casino 60 Miles away So after a month mike just was spinning his wheels. he was not making the money promised.
We decided that Mike who just turned 62 should get on Social Security and quit the job . Dione got a job at an auto parts store close to the RV Park. She love her job in Mississippi so she is a shoe in for this job. We have rent to pay at the campground and electric So jobs are a must. Around December the manager of the RV park lost there work campers at the same time Mike decided that he could no longer drive 120 miles roundtrip to make 40.00. Mike started working as a front desk clerk learning there reservation system checking in guests an learned the front desk at the RV park. The parks business is from November to May as after May the weather gets to hot. So we knew it would be over before summer.
Mike put applications in for workcamping in Northern California. These two places are the beginnings of us being our nomadic lives on the road and workcamper's. Our YouTube channel now has over 557 videos and shorts . We make a video a week and a short everyday. We are growing our channel thanks to you.
After 7 years of workcamping and living on the road We have been to some great places and we love to share with our friends and family. We both hope you enjoy watching our videos as much as we enjoy making them for you.
