Workcamping is the perfect blend of work and adventure. • Many RVers have found that working as a gate guard at oil field sites is another way to earn a little extra money. As we have never participated in this type of work as yet it is an option.
• During the holiday season it can offer great opportunity's for workcampers Christmas Tree sales, Pumpkins, beets is all an opportunity to make some cash and have a fun flexibility and quick cash for RVers who are looking for seasonal work.

There are plenty of great resources out there for finding workamping jobs. Some websites are completely free, while others charge a small annual membership fee. One of our favorite sites is Happy Vagabond, which lists workamping opportunities by state. We like to browse listings in areas we want to visit—whether we’re planning for summer in the mountains or winter in the south—and find jobs that fit our travel plans.

You can also find workamping groups on Facebook, where fellow RVers and nomads share job postings, tips, and experiences. These communities can be really helpful and supportive, and for many people, they’re a great way to connect and find their next campground job or seasonal position.

It really depends on where you want to go and what kind of place you’d like to work. There are so many different workamping jobs out there! You can find openings at family-owned campgrounds, corporate RV parks, private resorts, and even national parks. No matter where you travel, there’s always something available somewhere across the country.

Dione and I like to check for new listings every day—or at least once a week—just to see what’s out there. Most workamping jobs are seasonal, usually lasting around six months, depending on the park and the state. It’s part of the fun, really—each season brings a new adventure, a new place to explore, and new people to meet.

When it comes to workamping, there are so many different jobs you can do at an RV park or campground! Every place is a little different, and that’s part of what makes this lifestyle so interesting. If you take the time to learn how a campground or RV park operates, you’ll have a much better chance of being hired. Experience really pays off when you understand how things run—from welcoming guests to maintaining the grounds.

In larger parks and RV resorts, there are often more specialized positions, while in smaller, family-owned parks, everyone tends to pitch in and help wherever needed. That’s why being flexible and having a great attitude is so important—it’s all part of the adventure!
